On April 1, the Modern Blepharoplasty program ended in St. Petersburg. The total number of participants exceeded 400 people from 47 countries. To date, this is a record number for the AASURGERY spring courses, which were conceived as a local program for a small group of plastic surgeons.

In three days, we watched 5 “live” surgeries and listened to a program that is relevant for both beginners and advanced surgeons. “Live” operations were performed by: Mario Pelle Ceravolo “Secondary Lower Blepharoplasty”; Chiara Botti “Upper Blepharoplasty and Extended Transconjunctival Lower Blepharoplasty”; Nuri Celik “Difficult Lower Blepharoplasty”; Igor Vasiliev “Lower Blepharoplasty with fat grafting for malar mounds treatment”; Vitaly Zholtikov “Upper Blepharoplasty, Limited midface lifting for malar mounds treatment”.
The expertise of the program was supported by speeches: Natalia Manturova, Naresh Joshi, Timo Bartels, Tevfik Sozen, Gokce Ozel, Peter Palhazi, Alisher Kasimov, Sultan Tukeshov, Isken Kachkinbaev, Natalia Korableva, David Grishkyan, Alla Poberezhnaya, Ilya Almazov.

On the last day, a dissection course was held on modern blepharoplasty, with the opportunity to practice all the theoretical knowledge gained in the company of international experts. As the course director, Vitaly Zholtikov, says: “The dissection course was the “icing on the cake” for everyone who attended it”.
